Jawai Leopard Safari Itinerary From Udaipur – 2 Nights/3 Days
Day 1: Jawai – Udaipur
Morning:
- Depart from Udaipur by 8:00 AM
- Enjoy the road trip as it has beautiful views of the Aravalli hills and rural Rajasthan
- Check-in at your Jawai resort at around noon.
Afternoon:
- Reception with welcome drink followed by check-in
- Have lunch leisurely at the resort
- Relax or go for some mild walks in the nearby areas of the resort.
Evening:
- Sunset Safari- The first leopard tracking experience in open jeeps. This area is known for leopards, hyenas, owls, and wild cats so chances of spotting them are high.
- Be back to the resort before dusk.
Night:
- Bonfire watching the stars
- Dinner with Rajasthani local food for the main course
- Overnight in luxury tents/cottages
Day Two: Jawai Full Day
Early Morning:
- Morning Safari (Optional: Bird Watching) – The flamingos at Jawai Dam (the season allows) and leopards will be active around this time.
- Come to hotel for breakfast afterwards.
Mid-Day:
- Walk around the village or have a look at the local tribes.
- After this have lunch at the resort.
Afternoon:
- Free time or leisure cycling/kayaking at the dam (depending on your resort).
Evening:
- Second Leopard Safari – Explore new leopard area ranges.
- Sunset from the granite hills.
Night:
- Story tells around the campfire with naturalists.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Jawai → Udaipur
Morning:
- Optional last morning nature walk or birdwatching around the dam.
- Breakfast and check-out.
Late Morning:
- Check-out from the lodge between 10:00-11:00 AM.
- Drive to Udaipur.
